Why Globus Cares?

We are a 501c3 nonprofit entity that specializes in medical mission trip operations and administration. We are uniquely positioned with the generous support of a leading musculoskeletal solutions company, Globus Medical.

The primary focus of our program is building mission partnerships with clinicians that are passionate about developing sustainable spine care programs in medically under-resourced communities around the world.

Our full-time staff specializes in medical mission trip operations and provides a point of continuity for our partners that allows for more efficient use of time and resources. Our ultimate goal is to increase patient impact and the quality of care that we can provide in a charitable mission trip setting.

Who We Give To

Nonprofit, charitable organizations, medical institutions, accredited educational programs.

Time Requirement

Your Globus Cares application must be submitted a minimum of 90 days prior to the start date of the mission.

Depending on the shipping logistics, some requests may require additional time to ensure international delivery. The earlier you submit and start the planning process, the better.

Yes! Globus Cares (formerly known as NuVasive Spine Foundation) is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation (Tax ID 26-4835245). Donations and contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

We provide comprehensive support options from long-term partnerships to one-time grants, a full-time staff who specializes in medical mission operations and the generous support of Globus Medical.

We believe in collaboration to achieve our greater goal – changing patients lives. Our objective is to help unburden our mission partners from some of the tedious mission logistics and let them focus on providing life-changing care for patients.

Globus Cares (fka NuVasive Spine Foundation) is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation (Tax ID 26-4835245).

As of January 2025, the NuVasive Spine Foundation and Globus Cares grant program have joined forces to advance access to charitable spine surgery training and technology in underserved populations around the world.

Globus Medical generously donates both Globus Medical and NuVasive products, funding, intraoperative neuromonitoring and product support services to help advance our medical mission program and help patients in need.

As a private operating foundation, we are funded by donation from our supporters. We hold fundraising events throughout the year to fund our medical mission program and operations. Globus Medical provides both financial and in-kind product and services donations to keep our operational costs low and ensure our donor dollars are being use to help patients in need.
